Field observations in lane of building road and in neighbourhood of ponds demonstrate occurence of following species of amphibians: tree frog, fire bellied toad, green frogs, European toad, common grass frog, garlic toad, common newt, crested newt, alpine newt.

Due to mass occurence of the majority of the mentioned species, ponds situated in the Morzyk reserve area should be treat as valuable position of amphibians reproduction.

According to EU Berner Convince crested newt, fire bellied toad, garlic toad, tree frog and moor frog are strictly protectd fauna species. Then EU Habitat Directive says that crested newt, fire bellied toad, garlic toad are species of community interest whose conservation requires the designation of special areas of conservation.



Tree frog – this species mass occurs in the Grodziec Slaski area.
